There also seem to be more Sacred Kingfishers in my area of Brisbane
than usual.  Last year I had no records, this year I've seen at least
two separate pairs, and can hear at least another three or four
individuals calling off in the distance from across the river.  Of
course, I may just have been unlucky in my observations last year.
