Rohan Clarke tells me that in 5 days on Boigu Is. he has seen and photographed Australia's first Orange-bellied Fruit-Dove and Papuan Spine-tailed Swifts!!!! Also Papuan Flowerpecker, previously only seen on Saibai, 10 Collared Imperial Pigeons and up to 60 Singing Starlings! He now moves on to Duaun and then Saibai so perhaps by the end of his 15 or so days trip he could have a total of 6 new species for Australia. Unfortunately, being alone he has to photograph them. At least thats what I say!
