Pheasant Coucal

Heard a pheasant coucal calling in dense heathland/mallee while on the
Curra Moors management trail in the Royal NP on the weekend (Oct 9).
Couldn't sse it, but the call was quite distinctive.  Anyone have any ideas
if they have been reported from the Royal in the past?
