While standing in my front yard in Ingleburn NSW, this afternoon, I was surprised to see a California Quail emerge from my front garden and walk around my lawn. I managed to take 1 photo before it was dived at by a magpie and disappeared into the neighbours garden. I assume this bird is an aviary escapee.
