HI All,

I too have been wondering how the migrants seem to get down south without being noticed here (on the Sunshine Coast hinterland).  Here at Palmwoods I only recorded my first Koel on the 21st Sept, first Channel-billed Cuckoo on 27th Sept. and a Black-faced Monarch on Sat 2nd Oct.

It would be interesting to collate the first sightings for each species and map them out to see if there is any pattern to it all.

Some rain would certainly make it even more interesting.  Its apparently the driest September on record since 1946 in this area.
