Hi Tom

Very sad to hear about Laurence and a big loss to the world of
digiscoping.

Unfortunately I've just seen some very sad news posted on the
WildbirdSingapore mailing-list, the 'Father of Digiscoping' Laurence
Poh passed away earlier today.

He finally succumbed to a grave illness after battling for several
years.

I'm sure many birders will be aware of his great contributions to
'digiscoping' in Malaysia and the rest of the world, he was the direct
inspiration for me to start digiscoping in Australia and was very
generous with advice and images. He will be sadly missed, but hopefully
his work will be an inspiration to all.

I offer my condolences to his wife and family,

Tom Tarrant
