Hi All,

I'm heading up to Darwin later in the week for my first ever NT trip - and bloody excited about it.   I've gone through the archives and prepared a basic itinary, but would appreciate any feedback on good birding sites that i might have missed from the list below.  Also good campgrounds and current sightings in the area etc would be great.

I have 7 days and plan to visit the following places:

Darwin  Area: [East Point, Buffalo Creek, Fogg Dam, Holmes Jungle, Botanic Gardens (rufous owl updates?), Howard Springs, Leanyer Swamp ]

Kakadu Area: [Nourlangie Rock, Gunlom Falls, Pine creek, Mary River]

Katherine Area: [Chinaman creek, Edith Falls, Ferguson River (directions please?)]

Victoria River Crossing and Timber creek [ ?????]

Any sites for Hooded Parrot, Gouldian Finch, Yellow rumped Manniken,  Northern Rosella, Zitting Cisticola, Banded Fruit Dove, Spinifex pigeon all and any of the Robins would also be great.

Thanks in advance,

Peter
