Hi All,

Saw an interesting sighting at lunch-time today (friday 2 July), 2 Wedge-tailed Eagles were soaring fairly low over West End (about 2-3kms south of Brisbane CBD) joined by about 20 Torresian Crows. Both birds appeared to be young (plenty of pale-brown in plumage) The sky was cloud-free but there was extensive smoke from burn-offs on the D'Aguilar Range.
