Mystery bird at Pt Cook

Just returned from a BOCA outing at Pt Cook (SW Melbourne). Weather was cold, wet and windy - not conducive for great birding. Several of us saw a mystery bird flying low over some scrub. It looked about the same size (or maybe a bit bigger) than the numerous New Holland Honeyeaters that were present, but seemed to be a very pale cream/almost white all over, with the possible exception of a dark patch on the head. Views were very brief in very poor light.

Any clues?
