Here at Lajamanu on the northern edge of the Tanami Desert I think I may be a little too far south for Yellow-tinted Honeyeaters. Haven't seen any yet. Grey-fronted everywhere though. Don't come all this way to see them there are plenty in Mt Isa. I got good photographs of them at Lake Moondarra. Bob Forsyth will put you onto them. I think the last time I saw Yellow-tinted was when I was at Lawn Hill National Park.  re "fronted".  Years ago as a young birder in NZ I learnt that our White-fronted Tern was white "fronted" because of its white forehead. From the Latin frons which means forehead (or front)
