Hi all,
Some strange avian things have been happening in my backyard lately.
For example:
Yesterday, Sunday 14 March 2004, just before sunset, I heard a familiar call
coming from a tall tree
next door.
On checking I observed a very strange sight silhouetted against the darkening
sky.
The digital camera was brought into action with the result that I have created
a page on my website
with one of the images for you all to practice your identification skills on.

Have a look at:

click on the link "What bird is this?"

What is it? (I do know; the call was distinctive and other images of this bird
give more clues.)
Has anyone else seen anything like this before?

Cheers
