How to run over Oriental Plovers

G'day all, again.
 
The only ones I can locate give a whistle audible perhaps 20 metres.
 
And the only times I have flushed birds off a track, I have been unable to drive much faster than walking pace and the gizmos need a reasonable speed to emit any sort of whistle.
 
To summarise my thoughts on the various brands I have tried..
They are a "con"
