On my trip I was impressed with the number of
Olympus C700 series cameras I saw being used by Birdos.
I think they were the first with a 10X optical lens
.. but at least 2 other brands now have this option.
Unfortunately none of these appear have a stabiliser.
It is great that the C740 & C750 can just plug into any PC running the
latest MS software (except 98 ?) and be downloaded or viewed on most
TVs.
