Can anyone help Richard with this request? Perhaps you could also let
us all know via birding-aus if there are myna traps that can be used
legally. It would be good to do something about these pests. However,
something in the dark recesses of my brain tells me that the only way
Mynas have been elminated on a large scale was by netting and gassing -
was this the Bairnsdale (Vic) method?

I am looking for the source of either plans to construct or a
pre-built myna trap.
Most links on Google seem to point to the SA bird group, (who
inexplicably state, ~As we no longer have any Indian Myna's in South
Australia we are unable to give you any information about
traps.~) What will they do when the myna~s reappear?
There is also a link to ANU, but email to the published address
remains unanswered.
Can you assist?
