Hi all,

While staying in Rainforest at Mullumbimby,(north of Byron Bay).
I heard lots of Cicada Birds, most of the time they would call from the hillsides but every now and then I would hear that sweet 'tuit-tuit' call that I think sounds rather like dripping water.

I noticed that males used it alot when confronting one another.
On the last day  was up there,a huge storm blew in and just as the sky turned grey cicada birds were coming from everywhere and were calling their 'tuit' calls.
