This morning (1 Jan 2004) at about 8:40am, I saw two
Crested Pigeons feeding on the nature strip at the
Ballam Park picnic area carpark on Cranbourne Road,
Frankston, VIC (Melway 103 B5.)

This is the first time that I've seen
Crested Pigeons in Frankston, though I expected
that they would arrive sooner or later given their
presence in nearby suburbs.

Paul Taylor.
