HI All, I also couldn't find the yellow wagtail after a couple of hours search on Thursday night. Has anyone else see it since the first sighting? We did find 2 x Terek Sandpiper though towards the back of the T-section Lagoons. (Follow the road in and around to the left. The last pond on the left near the only visible tree, where the spoonbills aften roost). Also had some great views of Stubble Quail on the road while watching the Terek Sandpipers. I went for another search tonight, but both yellow wagtail and Terek Sandpipers were not found. Stubble Quail were sill there though, and a few could be heard from the grassland behind the pond (where the only tree is). Cheers, Peter
Tim Dolby and I were out there today for a few hours - alas without luck (third failed Yellow Wagtail twitch by me), couldn't find the Terek Sand either. Stuart Stuart Cooney www.birdline.cjb.net www.babblersnest.com |
