ZOOLOGIST, Melbourne, Victoria
Ecology Australia
provides flora and fauna consultancy services to the public and private
sector
throughout south-eastern Australia. We are seeking a Zoologist to join our team
of 10 biologists and 2 support staff, based in Fairfield,
Melbourne.
The successful
candidate will preferably:
·
Be keen to work in a friendly,
professional
team;
·
Have tertiary qualifications in
biological /
ecological sciences;
·
Have an understanding of the
taxonomy and
ecology of south-eastern Australian biota;
·
Have an understanding of policies
and
legislation related to biodiversity conservation;
·
Be proficient with the use of
computers for data
analyses and report compilation;
·
Have experience in conducting field
surveys and
preparing written reports; and,
·
Be prepared to travel as required.
Salary is
negotiable, but
will be commensurate with skills and experience.
