Hi Martin,

Could you please forward me the PDF documents you mention?

Also, would you also be able to forward them to the steve bracks email address sent in my previous email? I think your credentials would add depth to the cause, and be recieved favourably.

[BIRDING-AUS] Fuel Reduction in the Australian Bush (Vict. info.)

Further to Peter Fuller's comment about impacts of fire on Australian
biota, especially birds.

There are two items under the Victorian Flora and Fauna Guarantee Act (FFG)
which address this precise issue.  Both the following items have short
Recommendation Reports which are available to interested people.  Both will
have an Action Statement prepared to address the threats these processes
pose to Victorian flora and fauna.  The reports show how each item meets
the criteria for listing under the FFG Act and a list of recent references
is provided to support each finding.

Please contact me directly should you be interested in a copy.  I have them
as pdf dcouments or can send them out as hard copy (provide an Australia
Post address).

Nomination 565
High frequency fire resulting in disruption of life cycle processes in
plants and animals and loss of vegetation structure and composition

Nomination no. 664
Inappropriate fire regimes causing disruption to sustainable ecosystem
processes and resultant loss of biodiversity
