Hi Martin,

Several years ago near Dayboro (SE Qld) I observed a Pied Butcherbird repeatedly chasing a Little Friarbird into a wattle, and everytime it (the friarbird) tried to make a dash for a nearby tree an Australian Hobby attempted to 'stoop' on it. Eventually both the 'aggressors' left the area and the Friarbird continued going about its business unharmed. It certainly appeared to be a co-ordinated effort.

I have a fascinating observation that I'm keen to hear whether anyone else
has also recorded.

Has anyone else observed this predatory behaviour by ravens before? It is
certainly the first time I had observed it.
