Hi all/ Sydneyites, Bushells Lagoon is the only place for shorebirds at the moment with a Pectoral Sandpiper Red-necked stints, 130+ Sharptailed a odd Curlew Sandpiper and Whiskered and Caspian Terns. There is also a few 100 European Carp expiring in the drying out lagoon a waste of good fertilizer.
On the CBOC outing to Marra Marra NP on Sunday some of the good birds seen were Brush Bronzewing, Scarlet Robin,
Pheasant Coucal and a number of White-throated Nightjars calling.
The beautiful Hawkesbury 60km N/W of Sydney.
