Hi Mike
Looks like a female Satin Flycatcher to me.
Beautiful birds aren't they.
Cheers,
Merrilyn

Hi Lorne,

Noisy Miners attack the hanging baskets outside my living room window,
stealing the fibres of the matting used to retain the potting mix, and
leaving the whole thing in a mess...

Funnily enough, I heard a terrific commotion while walking though the park
yesterday and saw to CB cuckoos heading straight at me followed by a very
irate Australian Raven - I assume they had been at his nest?

While on the subject of parks, I photographed a small bird this morning, and
need a bit of help with identification, some type of flycatcher?

Please have a look at http://members.optusnet.com.au/ozbirds/newbirds.html
and let me know what you think?

Best regards - Mike
