I went to Airey's Inlet on Saturday and saw a few good birds in the area. Highlight was an Azure Kingfisher at the Airey's Inet Reuse Dam. There seems to be a few reports of Azure kingfishers in the Melbourne area lately. Is this number of sightings unusual? Also at the dam was a single Musk Duck, a Blue Winged Parrot, and few Scarlet Robins were still around. Peter |
