My vote is no.

I doubt every subscriber will be interested in every picture that is sent. E-mail is "push" not "pull" - subscribers can't pick and choose which messages they receive. For this reason, messages should be short with a link to where larger resources are, be they pictures, articles, web sites, papers or whatever.

The digiscoping mailing list already exists for people to exchange bird pictures - anyone interested can find out more at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/digiscopingbirds/ .
