Here in the Noosa hinterland and around Boreen Point, when the flowering is right, it is not unusual to come across feeding flocks of Little friarbirds of up to 20 or so birds. They don't seem to move in large flocks though. I don't think of them as an unusual species for SEQ.

Little Friarbirds are quite common on SE Queensland including Brisbane and the Gold Coast, although I have never seen more than a half a dozen birds at any one time.
