Hi Alan & others, since the droughts of the early to mid 1990s Little Friarbirds moved into the East Brisbane area and have stayed and consolidated. They have now moved across river to New Farm and around the corner from East Brisbane to Woolloongabba. Whereas Noisy Friarbird still seems to only appear when Silky Oaks are in bloom, the Little is fully ensconsed & indeed spreading. Cheers - Paul Walbridge.
