Gidday birders,
this morning while watering my wilting natives, I heard a Brown pigeon (not a cuckoo, too big for a dove) calling. I did my best to imitate its call, and to my surprise the bird came in looking for the intruder, giving me a wonderful view of the bird. Then, as it moved around to find the culprit, it got mobbed by a pair of very excited Willy wagtails. So I searched, and found a gorgeous little nest in an adjacent Cootamundra wattle.

Not bad for the front garden.

Cheers
