Thanks David, you reminded me that I heard my first Bush Canary last Saturday. This is my first confirmed migrant for the year. (I had something looking suspiciously like a Channel-bill fly over a week before.)
 
Other signs of spring? When the Rose Robins stop their 'buzz' and give that lovely little warble, when the Morepoke start calling, and the Boronias start flowering.
