Hi All,

While out watching the birds in my local park in Carrara on the Gold Coast in Queensland i noticed a single Wandering Whistling-Duck with 4 young. Isn't it a bit late or early for these birds to breed? The Wandering Whistling-Ducks arrived at the nearby billabong around 4 months ago when the Plumed Whistling-Ducks had left a few days earlier. The Plumed Whistling-Ducks have not returned and i am interested to hear from anyone who might be able to tell me where they may have gone to. Also now that the Wandering Whistling-Ducks are gone where do you think they have gone to? Thanks for your help.

Yours Sincerely
Mr Jade Welch
