I was surprised today by a curlew at Ricketts Point,
Beaumaris. It took off, heading east.

Also in Beaumaris there is still at least one (brown) Pink
Robin.

The Buff-banded Rail and Little Grassbird were missing from
the Elster Creek through Elsternwick Golf Course on Tuesday
(1/7) but a Moorhen is now there and a pair of Long-billed
Corellas now seem to be resident.

An immature Darter at the large lake in Elsternwick Park
(south) is very approachable (stuffed with carp?). Has been
there since 15/6.
