Migrating needletails & pardalotes

This morning before 9am there was a short but steady stream of
White-throated Needletails rapidly flying north over Katoomba. I counted at
least 30 but I suspect there were many more as they were flying on a front
which seemed to stretch further than I could see to the east; some were
only visible with binoculars. They weren't hanging around at all.

At the same time, mixed flocks of Spotted and Striated Pardalotes were
coming through, flying north from treetop to treetop in the same way that
the Yellow-faced Honeyeaters do.
