This morning a friend from about 1 km away phoned and said to look outside as they had just seen a Wedge-tailed Eagle soaring our way.  We dashed out and there it was being tailed by a pair of White Ibis.  The Ibis peeled off as the Wedgie circled straight overhead.  It then headed off in a south easterly direction until we lost it in the distance.  We are at Nundah about 6 km as the eagle flies from the centre of the city.

Exciting stuff.
