I'm looking for a brief description of each Australian bird on the Internet.

I don't know of one available at the moment, but Michael Morcombe is building a web site in association with his field guide.  It is still in design and testing stages.  I expect that he will announce the web site later this year.  I don't know if he is putting all the details from his field guide on his web site.  He is certainly posting corrections and additions, and photos.

He very much welcomes corrections to his field guide.  He can be contacted by email at   The second edition incorporated the corrections on birding-aus when the field guide was first published.
