One certainly needs a very long day to good look around the whole area at Werribee TP.  Thanks to Paul Hackett's experienced navigation and various BA lister's  reports  we located most of the recently noted birds.
Highlight of the day was probably seeing Paul and Rob (driver) duck as what they thought must have been a Peregrine fly at such an incredible speed they didn't see it coming straight at us and just missing the windscreen. It landed a good distance away and we debated peregrine/hobby. Paul's digiscoping proved a winner again for confirming a Hobby when he was able to enlarge the shot at home.
A Swampy with a coot firmly held in the talons kept taking off with it's prey each time we drove level with it. Little did it know we couldn't see it in the long grass until it took off each time.
