I just had my birding database tot up how many species I recorded in
2002. The grand total was 471 - my highest ever annual total -
including 293 from Victoria and tiny bits of South Australia and NSW;
plus another 178 from England, France and a little bit of Spain.
How the hell did Dools get 700+ in a year - in Australia!!?? I'm even
more impressed now ....
