Dear all,
Let me add my congratulations on the quality of the
photo supplied by Tony Palliser and second Tony's comment about the impressive
piece of birding by the original observers.
There is a previous submission for the Northern
Wheatear to BARC from Christmas Island in 1996. In this instance the committee
was unable to confidently separate the Northern from the Isabelline.
Lets hope a more clear cut ID can be made this time
around as Tony's pic must go a long way to confirming the ID.
