If they are out there, Peter, they are probably all over the place.  Two good 
spots to look might be a few hundred meters inside the boom gate where the 
Great Circle Drive (or whatever it's called) rejoins the road up to the peak; 
and 3/4 way around the circle road where another track turns right to the old 
branding yards.  The second place can be reached from outside the park by 
driving down Toynes Road.  Park outside the gate and look around there, and in 
the first 100m or so along the branding yard track.  This spot is good for 
robins and woodswallows as well.
