G'day all,

My previous posting "Qld Birds, Extinct, Endangered & Vulnerable "
prompted me to locate the equivalent for Australia and its territories

I located
http://www.ea.gov.au/biodiversity/threatened/action/birds2000/ts-list.html

The Action Plan for Australian Birds 2000
by Stephen T. Garnett and Gabriel M. Crowley
which includes ..
Names, status and criteria of all Australian bird taxa classified as extinct,
threatened
or near threatened.

It seems to contain everything that was published in the 4cm thick 673 book.
Navigation around the site is easy.

Regards, Bob Forsyth, Mount Isa, NW Qld.

Seek and ye shall find !
