Hello All,

Just a reminder to those wishing to take part in the Birds Queensland
Twitchathon on 2-3 November that they should register now. The twitch
covers any area within Queensland. Teams should be between 2 and 5
people with extra people allowed as non-spotting
drivers/recorders/provisioners/etc. It is a lot of fun and you can
pretty much design your own twitch.

There are categories to suit full-on 24 hour twitchers, 12 hour
twitchers, walking only twitchers and beginners who have never been in a
twitch before.

Registration forms can be downloaded from the birds Queensland web site
at www.birdsqueensland.org.au. They can also be obtained by emailing
me, giving me your street address. If you send me a completed,
downloaded form I will send you a birdlist (for your results) by post.

All money raised goes towards monitored, ornithological research and
conservation projects in Queensland. Tax deductions apply to donations
by sponsors.

I hope to be inundated with requests to register,

Regards,
Ros Laundon.
Birds Queensland Twitchathon Co-ordinator.
