Birdline Victoria Update No. 93
For the week ending: 6 October, 2002

Well, I've been a bit slack lately with lots of sightings coming in to Birdline, but me not updating the website.  Anyway, there are lots of new sightings today from right across the state.  Thanks to all those people who continue to support Birdline by sending me their reports and making sure that everyone gets to see some of the great birds around and find out about some of the great birding spots around Victoria.

Also, special thanks to Joy Tansey who became the first woman to get a blue star for contributions over the previous twelve months.  I’m not sure why that would be, but Joy seems to be all over Melbourne and I am grateful that she reports her sightings to Birdline.
