7.10.02 at 1200-1300 at Penrhyn Road were 70 Bar-tailed Godwits, 15 Curlew Sands, 5 Sharp-tailed Sands, 40 Red-necked Stints, 2 Red Knot, 20 Pacific Golden Plovers and 7 Red-capped Plovers. New bird for me in this area was a Clamorous Reedwarbler singing and squeaked out from the Bitou Bush. The number of recreational boat users using this site today was incredible creating a gridlock in the carpark.
