Birding Royal and Heathcote NPs

How is the birding at Royal and Heathcote NPs
(sepcifically planning for nest Friday)?  In the
states all we heard about the last set of fires is
that the whole park burned up.

Given that the U.S. press tends to exagerate how bad
was it and how is the birding now?
