Hi all, went around Windsor and Richmond areas today and saw a total of 105 species, here are some of the highlights:

Mitchell Park

Good numbers of the usuals seen and heard, including Cicadabird, Leaden Flycatchers, Azure Kingfisher on the river, Varied Sitella, White-Throated Gerygones, Yellow Thornbills, Olive-Backed Oriole, Variegated Fairy Wren and a single Pacific Baza seen flying over picnic area calling.

Pitt Town Lagoon

Didn't see too many waders this week due to less time spent here today (reeds / weeds make it difficult even "criptic" to pick up birds), did see 10 Whiskered Terns, Sharp-Tailed Sandpipers, 3 Marsh Sandpipers, and Red-Kneed Dotteral. Also saw 3 Double-Barred Finches. On Pitt Town Bottoms Rd saw a female Brown Songlark.

Turf Farms Cornwallis Rd

A few interesting birds seen around here including 3 Brown Quail, Nutmeg Mannikin, Red-Whiskered Bullbull, Rufous Songlark and a single Banded Lapwing

McGraths Hill STW

3 Glossy Ibis, White-Winged Triller, a single Pink-eared Duck, 4 Baillons Crakes, and 1 Yellow-Billed Spoonbill.

Cheers
Simon.
