Went searching for the Kelp Gull at Woody Point this morning, without success.Tried the shingle beach to left of jetty, also Croakett Park.Went to Pelican Park at Clontarf, tried the beaches at Scott's Point, Margate, and Redcliffe Point. No sign of the blighter.Did see more Ruddy Turnstone than I've seen for ages (40+ all-up) and about a dozen Golden Plover. Will try again tomorrow but with weather now settled and calm the gull may have resumed normal operations( which is not to reside in Moreton Bay!!)
