Morning Pierre, I've often felt a similar dilemma myself and the only way
I've reconciled the situation is to check out, as far as possible, the bone
fides of enquirers as genuine birdwatchers and not catchers. This isn't
always easy and often in the past I have probably erred on the tough side
and not given info when perhaps it would have been safe to have done so.
This may have proved unjustified in some cases but I felt it better to be
safe than sorry.
I adopt a modified cricketing rule which says " If in doubt give nothing
out" I did however give some info to Sean Dooley whose total is now
becoming unacceptably high for most folk.

BTW, why would anyone want to poach grasswrens ? I can understand the parrot
problem, but why grasswrens ? Is there a market for them ?

Anton.
