I have just returned from a trip to Mutawintje National Park in Western NSW.
The primary purpose of the trip was to look for dragons and geckoes. However
we did manage to find some time for birdwatching. One of the highlights was
seeing a pair of grey falcons on Tuesday afternoon. I reported this to the
rangers the next morning. They said there had been several sightings of this
species recently.
