G'day Grahan and Steve,

I stand to be corrected but I believe most of the liquid intake needed by owls comes from their diet and variety of food intake?

John, yawning and stretching, thinking I wonder if the fluid content in mice is the same ratio as in humans?

Steve I had the same response as Graham in trying to send you an email?

Can't find anything here at the library under Fleay or that title?

JAG dreaming of a doona and my black and white dawtie making me a cuppa ....

G'day Steve,
If I remember rightly, Fleay in the book 'Nightwatchmen of bush and plain' (I think its the title) give an account of Powerful (and others) Owl bathing habits. From memory Powls are very particular and regular with their bathing.

Only problem is the book is a little difficult to get hold of.

Hope this helps

Graham Turner

P.S. I tried to reply directly but bounced.....
