A colleague of mine is currently looking at the possibility of invasive
exotic grasses being a threatening process for native birds.

The problem is that there appears to be very little literature on this
topic. Two questions are currently being posed:
- what negative or positive effects are exotic grasses having on native
birds? For example, are species suffering loss of habitat as native
grasses are replaced by exotic species?
- are there any examples of native bird species feeding on exotic
grasses?

If you are aware of any literature on these subjects, grey literature is
fine at this stage, could you please let me know ASAP. Unfortunately
there is a deadline of tomorrow afternoon for the preliminary case to be
put at a meeting next Monday.

Thanks

David
