Afternoon all.

I'll be in Melbourne this upcoming Sunday (from Tassie), and am hoping to visit Fern Tree Gully National Park and/or Sherbrooke Forest (I'd dearly love to make acquaintence with Lyrebird, Pilotbird and Treecreepers etc).

As I'm not at all familiar with the region, I'd be very grateful for any tips i.e. the best spots to visit, how to access them etc. I'll be staying in Clayton, but won't have a car, so am limited to travel by bus/train/Shank's pony etc.

Many thanks in advance.

Best wishes from Tasmania,

Rob Massom
