I was back just too late to see the Great Crested Grebes. 
One was at Half Moon Bay on 13 July with 3 (2 in winter
plumage) at the Sandringham Harbour from 16/7 for 10 days or
so. We have them on video.

Darters have been at the Harbour on 3 occasions recently. 

Walking the dog on 4/8 I saw a Swift Parrot in the
mahogany gums at the west end of Linacre Road, Hampton. It
was there the next morning too. 

There was a Black-tailed Native-hens at Elsternwick Park on
29/7,
presumably the same bird as seen there in May and June.
